Welcome to Voice! (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Voice! is a voice-driven shopping-list application. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users (“you” or “your”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We do not collect: background audio, location data, contact lists or any biometric identifiers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Speech Recognition – We send the captured audio to the OpenAI Speech-to-Text API solely to convert it into text.
- List Management – The transcribed text is used to populate your shopping list within the App.
- App Improvement – If you opt-in to share diagnostics, we analyze aggregated, non-personal usage data to enhance functionality.
4. Audio Handling & Microphone Usage
- The microphone activates only while you press and hold the record button (or invoke the “Start Dictation” command).
- Voice! does not perform any background listening or continuous recording.
- Audio files are transmitted securely to OpenAI and purged immediately once transcription is complete. We retain no copy on our servers.
