1) What Press does

Press is a journaling app for collecting and displaying blood pressure data that you enter. Press is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not diagnose conditions.

Press may display blood pressure ranges using reference guidance from the American Heart Association (AHA) and the World Health Organization (WHO). These ranges are for informational display only and are not a diagnosis. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for diagnosis, treatment, or any health-related questions.

2) Data you enter in Press

Press may process the following types of user-provided data:

• Blood pressure readings (systolic/diastolic)
• Measurement time/date and optional notes/tags you add
• Optional content you provide to use app features (e.g., voice notes, images)

No account is required. Your entries are not linked to your name inside the app.

3) Voice transcription and text extraction (OpenAI API)

Press includes optional features that require sending content to OpenAI’s API for processing:

• Voice transcription: audio is sent to OpenAI’s API to generate text.
• Text extraction from images: images are sent to OpenAI’s API to extract text.

Press sends only what is necessary to perform the requested function. After processing:

• The resulting text (and any related entry you save) is stored locally on your device.
